What is the Meaning of Home

What if your house isn’t your home? What if the meaning of home isn’t your house? Is home a place? Is home a building? What is the meaning of home? The meaning of home is different for everyone. In my life I’ve experienced two homes: one in Vancouver and one in Courtenay. I moved to Courtenay a few years ago and Vancouver is still my home...they’re both my homes. My home feels safe, warm and clean. At home I have my family, three dogs, a cat, chickens and some fish. My home would not feel the same without my family.
