A house is a structure, So elegant and tall But a home is a place Where it’s okay to fall It’s a place where you grow So in the real world you will glow When there are tough times It gets easier to climb high My home gives me wealth Where I can be myself With the fire crackling in the living room My family loves me and helps me bloom While my Father plays his guitar I feel happy with where we are As dinner is ready on the table My home makes me feel cozy and stable It’s my surroundings that make me smile And remind me it’s all worth the while A home is the memories we share And the times when we feel aware We are fortunate to have a home And pray for those who are alone You are never alone if you love your home.
