Wish For A Home

It is sad when you look out on the street and see people sitting with their families. Sometimes I wonder how it would feel to be on the street. We all need to have food, water, shelter, warmth, and clothes. If I were out there I would be distressed. I would nearly never smile. All my memories would be sad and miserable. I would wish hard and long for a home. But when all hope seems lost I get a yard, a neighborhood, and not a house but a home. I get food, water, warmth, shelter, love, and care. I meet new people and make new friends. When I think I am finished I grin an ear to ear smile. Everywhere I go I make memories, I make growth, and I make laughter. Now I am thankful for my home not my house and I nearly never frown.
