Having a home means so much more than four walls and a roof. It means safety, security, warmth, a calm place to shut out the craziness of the world. I cannot imagine not having a home. Even turtles have a home. They have a portable home. But not everyone has a home, and I don’t think that’s right. Being homeless must be so scary, cold and sad. In my home I am lucky to have my very own room. a space that is just mine. I can decorate it how I like. I can go there when I need some alone time and shut the door. It is where I dream my best dreams for my future and make up the best stories with my toys. When you have a safe place to go after a long day, the world seems a little easier and a little nicer. Home is where you celebrate and make memories. In a home you can celebrate birthdays. Home is where the magic of your life begins. where you dream, where you share your hopes and what scares you. Home is a four letter word with so much meaning. Everyone deserves a home. I love my home. My home would not be my home without my family living in it. My family is the heart of my home. It beats faster and faster every day. A home is a place to make memories and to make new ideas. If you get hurt you have someone at home to put your bandaid on. Everyone deserves a home!
