What Home Means To Me

What home means to me It is a place where I am loved and cared, where I'm cherished and nursed where to the best of myself They support me when I'm not prepared. Where I am safe to be weird and different, Instead of always trying to be magnificent. Happy is always in my home when I am sad, Like when I broke something and I was bad. When I'm alone in my room I look back at the memories, In this old antique house it's been here for centuries Where I grow from the person I am today, I'll remember where I ate and slept each night and day. Laughter filled the home when someone told a joke, Everyone thought it was so funny they would cry and sometimes choke. We have toys, video games and money for sure, but it's nothing compared to the family and friends allure. That's priceless Home is where my family and friends are where I feel the warmth from my family giving me a great big hug People don't have homes and I think home is not a place home is your family, friends and loved ones and there grace I wish people that didn't have a home had a place to stay every day of their lives until they grow old and die I wouldn't choose a better person to love even if I had the choice I would choose to be me and not anyone else I love my family and someday I will have my own family and then I will love them every day every time I look at my house I think a house is just a house like if you move it's just a house but your home is the thing you love it's your family, your friends and yourself.
