The Place I Call Home
The Place I Call Home
I turn the doorknob and open the door,
It's a simple home with some more,
The household of mine has love and happiness,
My home is not just a roof and walls,
It's where I live,
It's where I've learned to fix my mistakes,
All the memories I hold with my heart,
My home is unique,
Home is a place to go and see people you love and appreciate,
I have a home that I am proud to call my own,
My household is not some big fancy home,
My home is a place that is perfect for me,
Home is a place to learn,
Where my family loves me every way,
Home is the place where I came to be what I am today,
I see my household,
The place I call my very own,
My home is a place I can go when I am feeling down,
Family and friends are there to cheer me up,
My household has love in it,
It's not just drywall and wood it’s love,
My home is where I lock all my worries in a wooden box,
I see my folks gathering around the center of my home,
To celebrate a home I call my own,
It’s an honour to have a place called home,
A place I go and see my very own family,
Places like this are not what everyone has,
So let's make it so that they can have a place to call home,
Home isn't just a word,
Home Is a story of your own to hold for you grow old,
A home is memory that creates a story.
