What a Home Means to Me

A home is where the heart is. My home isn't complete without my family. It’s not just me that fills the space in my house. It’s my friends and family that fill my house with joy. I’m very grateful that I even have a home. I see a lot of people on the street that aren’t as lucky as me. If I won a lot of money, I would give it to people in need. Like… kids that have cancer or people that need somewhere to live. I’m also grateful that everyone in my family has a job to pay for food. Not everybody has money. Thank you Habitat for Humanity for all that you do! Habitat for Humanity is a great organization that helps many people in need. In fact, I happened to personally know a family who is having a house built by Habitat for Humanity. Those people are going to turn the house into a home and I hope all is good for them. That is what makes me happy. by Ava Lepine
