My House and My Home

My house is sturdy with a strong foundation. I am grateful my home has a warm bed to sleep in at night. My house has a kitchen that we cook great meals in. I am grateful that my home always has a fridge full to fill my belly, and I am thankful for the farmers in our area that give us fresh food to fill it. My house has my bedroom with all my things. I am thankful for my closet full of clothes and shoes to wear on my feet. My house has games, toys, books and instruments. I am thankful for my home being filled with fun, excitement, learning and the sound of music. My house has parents. I am grateful I have a mom and dad that go to work every day to make money to buy the things we need and want. My house is on a great street. I am thankful for the parks and trails nearby, and the wonderful neighbours and for the safe neighbourhood we have made our home in. My house has a family. I am thankful my home has people that take care of each other in it, and bring love, joy and laughter to it.
