A WELCOMING PLACE

In the community where I live there is a lot of different buildings that people call homes. Home for me is not just a structure with a number of rooms. It is a place where I am always welcomed. Home is where my family is. Home is a place where I am loved. It is where I feel safe, protected and cared for. Home is a place where I can have freedom. I can play, run, jump, scream, shout, sing, cry and laugh. It is a place where I can also be quiet, read, draw and have privacy. Home is a place where I learn new things. At home I learn to help my family members. I learn to care about other people. My home is also my community, my city, my country and my whole world. Home is a place where I belong!
