Meaning of Home

To me home has never been a place, it's the people in it and the community around it. Home is the feelings of warmth, memories and comfort . I feel that warmth is a big part of what makes home home. At home when I melt into the bath it's so soothing that my worries go away. When my family hugs me I think about how lucky I am to have my friends and family. That is why I feel that warmth is a big part of what makes home home . Memories - happy, embarrassing and funny, they’re all provided by home and probably the best thing about home. It's all the times me and Anika fight over what we're watching. It’s all the times me and Anika persuade papa to take a break and do something fun. It’s when me and my mom go grocery shopping and get something extra for the way back. To have the best memories you need a home. Home provides many things but comfort is what it provides the most. without comfort it is not a home, it may be a house but it isn’t a home. My papa shows me comfort when he accepts my apologies for doing something wrong. My sister shows me comfort when she gets back up again after she falls and continues to have fun. My mom shows me comfort when she admits that she ate all the cookies. That is why I think home provides comfort more than anything else it provides . Home is those feelings of warmth, memories and comfort. Habitat for humanity helps people have the safety and security of an actual structure to live in so that we can begin to build the warmth, memories and comfort of an actual home.
