Meaning of Home

All my life home has never been four walls or a big pile of bricks . For me it’s been family, warmth and food. Home is family. Home is loved ones surrounding me with hugs coming in from every direction. My family is Willow, Jinx, Mom, Dad and me. Jinx and Willow are my cats, Willow sleeps a lot and plays. Jinx does the same thing but she attacks willow. Mom is always cooking. My dad is always sleeping and I’m always playing with jinx and willow. With family I will always be home. Home is warmth. Warmth is when my family and I cuddle up by the fire to watch a movie. Sometimes I make myself a hot chocolate and well I’m drinking it my dad asks for a sip and I say yeah you can have a sip. When I go upstairs there's a big warm bed waiting for me. With warmth I will always be home. Home is food. Home is warm meat, bacon, ice cream, after eights, candy and yogurt. Home is warm juicy ribs and nice sizzling bacon. Moose Tracks ice cream is so good my mom gobbles it down like it’s nothing. With food I will always be home. Home is family, warmth and food but some people don’t have that opportunity. Habitat for Humanity is trying to help the people that need it by providing shelter. I hope they too find home in family, warmth and food.
