My Home is a Metaphor
My Home is a Metaphor
My home is a colossal castle,
A strong roof protecting me from storm.
And in my mother’s tight embrace,
Love for and from my family keeps me warm.
My home is a farm,
We never run out of food.
Father and mother working together,
Puts me in an upstanding mood.
My home is a playground,
It’s never a bore.
After I stop for a breath,
Fun keeps coming, more and more!
My home is a forest,
And I am an ape.
It’s where I spend most of my time,
Somewhere that keeps me in shape.
My home is water in the desert,
It’s exceedingly rare.
The fact that some people don’t have homes like mine,
It isn’t a single bit fair!
