My Home

My home is not just walls...I was born in Ukraine. And for me, my home was a special place with beautiful and cozy rooms, with large and soft sofas. And there was also my room with a lot of cool things. There is one saying: My home is my castle." Back then, my home seemed to me a real castle, a large and strong fortress. The walls of my house were made of durable brick. But a war broke out in my country. My family and I were forced to leave our beautiful house with a lot of cool things. The fortress could not protect my family and me...we eft our castle, my home. We travelled a lot. We lived in good and not so good houses. Sometimes I didn't even have my own bed. But I have my family! That's why I wasn't sad and scared. Now we leave in Canada. I feel safe and comfortable. I have friends a lot of toys. My house is warm and coxy. If you asked me what is a home for me? I would answer you that home for me is a place where my family, my friends. It doesn't matter were I sleep in a large and bright bedroom or on a small sofa. The most important thing is that I'm with people who love me! Home is not just walls... My home is my family! My family is my fortress!
