Home is a Place

Home is a place where I am safe and nobody can harm me. Where my little sister annoys me and I annoy her right back. I have my own room where I have what I need and what I want, which for me, is all baseball. Go Jays Go! Home means not having to go to school. Instead, I can be in a soothing space where I can be myself and relax, seeing Nina, my cute old Shorkiepoo, wandering around or grossly licking her chops. My mom feels like home by always loving me and feeding me, of course. I do like to eat! (Especially yummy vegan foods.) I even have an older brother who will play Pokemon Unite with me when he’s home. My grandma lives with us too. She is really nice and I love when we all play games together. So, what I’m really trying to say is that home has nothing to do with my house, and everything to do with the people (and animals) in my life who love and care for me, as much as I do them.
