What Home Means to Me
Home to me is like a giant fuzzy blanket.
It makes me just want to hug it!
It’s kind of also like a camera, where you take snapshots of happy memories and store them in your head.
It’s like a cake, kind of. You just want to keep eating and eating and eating, until it’s all gone!
Homes are more than just a place to live. A home is a part of your family, something to love! Everything you love about everything is in your house. On dark, stormy nights, you know you’re safe in your home. If you’re scared, you know you feel comfortable. Even if you’re scared in your home, you know you’re going to be okay.
When you’re walking home from school and had a bad day, you will always feel good at home.
Thank you, Habitat for Humanity, for helping people who don’t have that yet.
