Home is a Safe Place

I think home can be different for everyone, but for me home is a safe place where I can always feel loved and supported. I enjoy being home because if I’m having a bad day at school, I know that when I come home, I’ll be welcomed by my Nana and the classic after school snack. She has been preparing for my sister and I. On the weekends, I feel like I can do anything I like, like go on a walk, play with my sister and after a long day, even if I stayed home and chilled, for me home is also that feeling of getting tucked in before bed and getting ready to drift off to sleep and wake up in the morning to start a new day. For me home is also a cosy and comfortable space sometimes I’m mad at someone like my sister and then I love to go in my room. In my opinion. My room is a comfy place where I can read. Listen to music or watch my fish swim around my fish tank. I have only ever had one home and I hope it stays that way until I move out but for many people, I realize they sometimes must leave their home and I can’t even imagine having to leave my home the walls that surround the ceiling that protects me from unexpected weather or even the carpet in my room anyways, all of those pieces create the one and only place in the world. I could even imagine calling home even though I know it’s not for everybody for me home is home and that’s all I have to to say that is what home is for me and there’s nothing anyone can do about it.
