Home Is For Everyone

Home is different for everyone. For some it's where they have their fun, Or comfort and rest for when they're done. For some it's their one and only one, But for all, home shines like the sun. Home for me is my family. And of course, all my community. From Canada, where I now reside, To Nigeria, which never leaves my side. No matter where I am or where I go, I keep with me that feeling. The feeling of hope, the warmth of home, That never, ever leaves me. Home is the laughter, hugs, and cheer, A place I hold forever near. Not everyone has this gift each day, I treasure mine in every way. I hope one day all hearts can find, A place that’s loving, safe, and kind. A place to rest, to love, to be, A little world of family.
