A Home is NOT just A building

When I am home I feel safe and loved by my family. But, sometimes it’s hard to get used to the home that you just moved into. When I moved to Nova Scotia, I felt worried because I didn’t want to move away from my friends at school. And since it was the summer break, I couldn’t say goodbye. So when I moved to my new home I didn’t feel comfortable. But now I am used to my home. And my home is my safe zone. And when I come home every day from school, I can smell the fresh smell of something coming out of the oven. And when I taste it at dinner I can always hear the laughter in my heart and I can almost see my soul dancing in my body. My family is the best. They look out for me when I'm sick, injured or uncomfortable. I love my family. And I know that they love me too. And I am so grateful for all I have, that others might not. like a family or siblings or a home to sit on a dry bed or stay warm in the winter.
