Home isn't just a house

Home is a place where you are safe. At home you laugh and play. We watch movies or shows with family. Friends and family come over sometimes. We eat at the dinner table, the adults talk and laugh, they forget about their food. We have parties on wednesday’s, the adults chat and the little one’s… are blasting loud as always. The older ones are quiet and the middle ones… are crazy. But we all still have a good time. My cat purrs as I lay with him, he plays with his string and plushy fish. I make toys as my cat sleeps right beside me. My mom cooks delicious suppers when dad gets fast food… well two suppers is fine with me. A home isn't just a place you live in, it’s about family and friends or pets, home is a place to laugh, cry and have good times. I used to have a different home, It was breaking apart when we were selling it. A raccoon dug a hole in the roof. We lost 4000 dollars paying for the roof, we got the money back by selling the house, when I got to my new home it felt different, there were boxes filled with stuff. Rooms were empty, I missed my old home. But I still have my family, and that’s all I need. Things need to change sometimes, and it could be scary, fun, or disappointing, but your family is always there for you forever and ever.
