Home Is A Shield

Home is not just a building, it's a shield. Many other people have different preferences depending on their likes or dislikes or how they grew up. Nonetheless home protects you but it can also sting. It's not just the house that protects you, it is family too. Think of it like the human body: it can get sick but there will always be white blood cells to help heal you. The bones in your body help you stand up. These blood cells represent your family protecting you from harm. They can also represent your family advocating for you. Your bones can represent your family or house standing you up and making you feel strong. But this shield can sometimes feel unbreakable and impenetrable but that's where you're wrong. You have to remember that everyone has their own feelings and sometimes it is not how you like things to be. And now your shield feels penetrable because of that it does not feel like a warm and nice hug. It can feel like a push. And that's where family comes in. They fix what has been broken by their love and care. Family puts you in a good mood like playing your favorite video game at home to help you understand things. They help pitch in to make a roof over your head. This is where the true testament of your family’s love comes. They all decided that they were going to spend all their money that they got from working hard and use it to buy a house for your comfort. And what I would like to add on would be it doesn't matter how big your house is, the generosity is what counts. That is all the reasons why I think almost every one's home is a shield.
