My Family and Home

My home, to me, is a place where I can be with my family. I can also learn and study new things at home with them. I can relax and enjoy my time. I can practice piano at home, which I enjoy, and it helps me feel relaxed. Home is a place where family is the most important thing, and that is the key to having a good home. The sound of home is “I love you.” It shows that everybody is loved in my home. The smell of my dad’s food shows that the food in my home is different from other houses. My home sometimes feels angry, but other times calm and loving. The taste of home is love because my home is always filled with it. At my home, my favorite things are my family and my baby pictures. My family makes me feel loved and supported. My baby pictures make me feel happy and a little sad. They make me happy because they show how joyful it is to live with my family, but sad because they show how fast time flies. These two things show that my home holds many emotions and happiness. The difference between a house and a home is that a house is just a building, but my home belongs to my family. A house cannot always make you feel at home. Some people do not have a home. Many people cannot find homes, so we and Habitat for Humanity should help build homes for them so they can have a good life and a family. In the end, home means love and family. My home is beautiful and special to me and my family in many different ways. That is what home means to me and my family.
