What is Home?

“What is home?” You might be asking. Some people might say “It’s walls and a roof!” Well technically yes, but, think of what built those walls strong. The love that built them. “But, the wall isn't actually made from love!” I know, I know. But that's too literal! Seriously, what makes a home a home? People are fine with the house but it's the family that creates a safe house. The warm presence of the house, the roof that covers you when you sleep peacefully, the food you eat to stay alive, it's all family. Think of it like birds in flock, is it the clouds and sky that keep them safe? Or is it the other birds surrounding? What if you're alone in a luxurious house? Compared to being with your family without a house. Which one is better? “Ok, ok, then if we need family, why don't we just sell the house!” Well, you still need a house! A house is a safe place where you can throw yourself onto the bed and escape your problems, it's where you can work without pressure, it's where you won't get in trouble. It's where you can get silent support by the walls that close each corner, It's where the roof that covers you takes the rain, It's where you can whisper everything to a wall while pretending it's your friend, one you trust. It's where you can find yourself in this big world. Your house is the only place you can trust with your heart. Every person in your family needs a home to create one. Everyone needs a home. When I say everyone, I mean. Everyone.
