The Meaning of Home

To me, home is what makes me, my family, and my loved ones. Home is memories, feelings, and comfort. It makes me feel better on bad days and helps me express my feelings in a calm way. Home is what helps you grow up. I see my wonderful family getting together and being happy with each other. I love to eat my mom’s very tasty and amazing cooking. I touch and pet my dog’s soft fur. I hear my dad in meetings, working hard for us to be happy and have money. I smell my and my dad’s farts on movie night, along with the cheesy popcorn. My favorite things about my home are the love that is in it, our bonds, and our friendship. The appreciation we all have for each other in the family is heartfelt. Inside my home, I feel safe, happy, enjoyed, and supported. The feelings we share with each other are everywhere. Home is an important structure of a family, and a house is what holds and protects a home. Home is more about feelings and personality than the building itself. A house basically helps you stay warm, healthy, and alive. Family keeps home alive, and home keeps a house alive. Home is important because it creates bonds and friendship. In the end, home is a part of life.
