Meaning of Home

Home isn’t just a word. It’s not just a place. It’s love. It’s everything you care about. You could be at home at school with all your friends. You could be at home in a park. A home could be anywhere! Some people might associate the word “home” with the word “house”. A house has four walls and a roof. A home has love and community. I have a house, but I also have a home. You could even have more than one home! School is my home, because that's where my friends are. But my house is also my home, because that’s where my family is. My favourite thing about the word “home” is that everyone has one! Not everyone has a house, but everyone has a home. So do people a favour, and be nice to everyone, so everyone feels at home.
