My Meaning of Home
Home is not just four walls and a roof, it's more than that. My home smells like chicken in the oven and fresh laundry drying. It sounds like laughter in the room and music playing in the background. Home feels warm like a big hug after a long day. Home is where I can be myself and not pretend.
In my home, there are sounds that make it special. I hear laughter in the living room, the tv playing in the background, and quiet conversations from the kitchen.sometimes there is music playing while my mum cooks dinner. Even the. Small sounds, like footsteps in the hallway or dishes clinking together, reminds me that i am surrounded by people who care about me those everyday sounds make my house feel alive.
Home is also a place where I can truly be myself.I do not have to pretend to be someone I am not. I can relax , wear comfortable clothes, and speak freely without worrying about being judged. If i have a bad day at school, home is where i can talk about it and feel understood. If i have good news home is the first place I want to share it.the people there celebrate my success and help me when I struggle
Another important part of home is the memories made inside it.Every room holds a story. The kitchen reminds me of baking cookies together. The living room reminds me of movie night with blankets and popcorn. Even my bed room reminds me of studying, laughing on the phone with friends,or simply resting after a long day. These memories build over time and turn a simple house into something meaningful.
