What I Love About Home
If you ask me what home is, the first thing I think of is my house. But home isn’t really a building. Home is a bunch of feelings together. My home is awesome, like last summer when I finally rode my bike down the street. Life doesn’t have to be perfect, like my mom says. The wind messed up my hair and it was all over my face. I tried to fix it while my sister laughed and took pictures of me and my parents were cheering for me.
For me, home is love and to do the things you love, like dance. In case you’re wondering, I really love dancing and everybody in my family does too. With my sister, we practice our dance routines at home, sometimes making them up ourselves. My sister is really funny and she wants to film our routines in slow motion and she laughs so much that she is always on the floor. Her laugh makes me laugh and she always puts a smile on my face.
At home, everything is easy, even learning math. My dad always makes it simple for me. Here is something else I love, the food and the smell of fresh bread. My sister says it’s better than a restaurant.
One last thing, my mom never stops working and she takes care of all of us. I don’t know how she does it. She makes it look easy. She makes it feel like riding the bike down the hill. I know I have a great home and I love my family. I wish I had more words to tell you about my dog, Max. Thanks for reading.
