Hazel: Hi, today I will talk to you about what home means to me without any mush-gushy stuff. Basically, home to me means a place where you have all your needs met like water, food, care and clothes. Bye! (Hazel starts to walk away when she notices Norman). Hazel: Hi Norman. Norman: Hi. Hazel: What are you doing here? Norman: Can I tell you what home means to me? Hazel: Sure. Norman: To me home is a feeling you have when you’re with a friend or a family member who comforts you, makes you laugh, or simply smiles at you. Hazel: What a nice concept. Norman: I agree. Home is where you feel safe, loved and appreciated. Overall, home is a place where you feel happy. Hazel: That was a lot more mushy-gushy than mine. I loved it! Norman: Thanks. (JJ walks over.) JJ: Can I have a turn? Hazel: Of course, JJ. JJ: To me home is somewhere where you’re comfortable, it doesn’t even have to be where you live, just where you spend your time and where you are happy. Norman: That was very heartfelt, JJ. JJ: Thank you. Hazel: I think you two did a very good job of explaining what home means to you. I think it’s going to change my view quite a bit. Norman: You’re welcome. JJ: It was very fun. Hazel: Goodbye, hope we see each other again soon! Norman: We definitely will. JJ: Take care!
