My Home

What makes my house a home is my family and our games together, playing with my little brother, and cooking food with my dad. I feel joy and sadness, as I win and lose during our family games. I feel sorrowful and annoyed as I lose again and again to the same person over and over, until I feel as though I would never get better at the game, giving me the feeling of being left behind as everyone wins against each other. I feel overjoyed as I win a round, only to feel dejected knowing that it was only one round. I feel annoyed when my little brother destroys my building, and feel better when he helps me fix my structure. I feel as though he learned his lesson until he destroys my building again, making me feel irritated as I rebuild and he destroys . Soon, we made a game of when I build many towers out of blocks and he destroys as many as he could. My feeling of irritation turns into glee as we play together. I felt a quick sharp pain as a drop of sizzling oil landed on my arm. I felt cooled as the cool, chilly water from the tap ran down my arm. I felt the heat of the pan rising as I was cooking. I felt satisfied as I got praised by my siblings for my cooking. What makes my home a home is my feelings and memories made by my family. All the joy, distress, stress, glee, annoyances, satisfaction, boredom, and almost all my memories are with my family. My family grows stronger through the pain and distress we go through together with each other. To me my home is a place with love, memories, and where I can feel safe.
