My Day At Home

Home is not just a shelter, It is where I feel loved and appreciated. After school I smell mama cooking dinner, a yummy batch of soup. Mama calls dinner time! And l run down in seconds. I make my bowl spotless. Next comes dessert, All of a sudden my home smells like chocolate cake, with whipped strawberry frosting. l take a bite and a party is happening in my mouth! My sister runs upstairs and l follow. She's playing with the dolls she got for her birthday. I run into my room and a blast of warmth hits me! l jump into bed with all my cozy pillows! The next day, I lie in my warm bed, at my home forever! l’m glad my school is supporting Habitat for Humanity because l get to share my thoughts while donating up to $10 on materials to build houses!!! Thank you Habitat for Humanity!!
