What Home Means to Me
When I was young, I thought a home was just a building, just a structure – but it’s not.
Home is where you can feel safe and protected. Every picture is a happy and nice memory to me. Whenever I come home tired and sad, I walk through the doors and I get a warm welcome of love, like the house is saying ‘Hello – welcome back!”.
Home is not just a house, but it is your family. Most people focus on nice, fancy and expense things, but it’s just like about your family and your love for them. Love is worth more buy more!
Every room gives you privacy. Every bed you can rest in. A dining table for you to eat. A couch and a TV to sit and watch. Every place in a home is special and precious.
Home is different from a house because a house is a home that no one is living in. But a home is a house because someone is living in it! I adore and care about my house. I’m very thankful for my house! I love that there’s a roof on top of my head and how there’s a door to protect me and heaters to keep me warm.
I love everything in my house. I also feel so safe and snug on rainy days. I snuggle in my bed. I’ve spent most of my whole life there, it’s where I grew up. I like the awesome smell of my Mom’s cooking. In my house, there’s a little bit of loud and a little bit of crazy but lots’ and lots of love. I love my home!
