What Home Means to Me.
Home means everything to me. Home is no structure nor building. Home is the love and laughter you bring with you. Home is where I am happy. When I am home, I feel like I can do anything. When I am home, I can feel happy or sad with zero judgement. Wherever my family is, that is my home. Home is where I make memories. Memories can be happy or sad. One of my memories is the cuddles of my mom when I drop my ice-cream or the laughter of when I win or lose a game. The laughter of being together is home. Sometimes home has a bit of chaos. But the chaos always ends in hugs. The smell of the delicious food being whisked up together. The stories we tell while eating food that suddenly warms us up on the inside. That is the best feeling of togetherness. Home is not the structure of wood, it’s the place that we make it. Sometimes we pretend to be gaggles of geese. Or we just cuddle up together while watching a movie. Either way, home means everything to me.
I hope it means a lot to you too!
