I Know I’m Home
Home means family and the love that they show. I feel loved when we go on family trips. When we spend time together. Even when there’s craziness, I feel loved. When I feel loved by my family, I know I’m home.
Home is being able to relax and watch some TV. I get to sit on the couch and watch my favorite TV shows with my siblings. We can fight over the remotes and get shouted at too! I can also tell my brother to give me a turn to watch TV then tell on him when he doesn’t let me. We can watch our favorite Youtubers together and watch movies too! When I get to relax and spend time with my family, I know I’m home.
My home is special because I feel safe. When I feel protected by my loved ones, I know I’m home. I know my parents and siblings are there to protect me so then I feel safe and loved. I don’t have to worry about anything because I feel safe and protected! When I feel safe, I know I’m home.
Home has a bit of craziness and some discipline to go with it! I can be crazy playing with my siblings then having to hear a long lecture from my mom. It means having to follow strict rules and making mistakes. We can have fun together and play fun games. We can be crazy and deal with some discipline. When there’s craziness and discipline, I know I’m home.
