Home isn’t just a place we sleep and rest It’s way deeper To me home is a place Where we feel loved Safe and protected Because there is nothing better than Having dinner in your pjs Right Or sleeping and knowing you’re safe, loved And protected You can hear and feel Breakfast cooking, blender blending and Your brother shaking you awake When you come home from school You can smell dinner cooking in the kitchen And you know you’re loved Home is deeper than a shelter Home is like a warm blanket Home doesn’t have to be huge As long as you feel loved, safe and protected There is nothing better Home is like a turtle With a shell to protect you Home is where the heart is
