Home Can Be Anything

For me, home isn't just a word; it’s a feeling, a structure, a place, a safehouse, a secret lair, and the special people around me that live inside my heart. On the walls are the special memories that me and the people surrounding me make, and on the fridge are some of my drawings and magnets that we got from all over the world. Home can be anything like the safest safe house, a secret lair where I can plan invasions of the pantry, a cozy bed where I can lie if I am tired, a play zone where I can play, and much, much more. Home is where I get to be an explorer of the backyard, a farmer taking care of the garden, and sometimes, I become a police officer to settle things down, and other times, I become a burglar taking snacks from the pantry! It’s the place where I play video games, watch television, do my homework, play board games with my dad and sister, and where I play with all my toys. Truly, home is far more than just a word. It means everything to me.
