Meaning of Home

My home is not just a house, my home is where I feel safe. It's like you are wrapped in a big blanket and no one can get you or bother you.(except maybe your brother or sister if you have one). When you think of a home, at first, most people think that it is just a plain old building with a roof. When I think of home I think of sitting by the fireplace, drinking hot chocolate and watching snow fall. Or sometimes I think of playing badminton in my backyard with my sister. In the kitchen my mom is always cooking or baking and those awesome- smelling scents from the kitchen go into my little room and every time those scents come in, they make me very hungry. In the living room my dad sits on the leather couch and I sit on the soft brown couch and together we watch our favourite hockey team the Vancouver Canucks play. My home is where I feel protected and loved for, it’s kind of like in a game where you are running around but there is a safe spot where no one can get you. In my home I feel safe and protected and in my home I know my family will help me when I need it.
