Home means family.
Home isn't about how big or small your home is, it's about how much effort your family puts in to try to make you smile and laugh and be happy. Some things you have, like shoes, clothing, and blankets, some families can’t afford things like that. So, you should be thankful of what you have because your family tries to make you happy.
Me, what does home mean to me? It means a safe place for me and a big place for laughter, happiness, love, people who love me, and it feels like a big warm cozy cuddly family. Whenever I feel down there is a small but fluffy dog who cheers me up all the time and his name is August!
Like I said whenever I feel down, he comes to me and comforts me in his own way. He can’t talk or speak; he won’t bark because that would mean he is mad or grumpy or jealous. So, he comes up to me, wiggles his tail, licks me on my face, and runs and grabs his toy. Basically, he's saying he wants to play.
So, I play with him and then my dad comes and plays with August. Then my mom, then my brother, then my other brother plays with August. Then my mom records the video, then sends the video to the family group chat. After that, the whole family wants to come over and play all day.
That story I just told you guys was my story of my family being together and that is what home means to me.
