The Five Senses at Home

The Five Senses at Home Touch, Smell, Hear, See, Taste Smell: I can smell the delicious food on the table And the fresh scent of grass, trees, and flowers. The smell goes straight to my heart every time. Touch: I can touch the Bible, the grass, or my mom when she gives me a hug. It melts my heart every time. When I play baseball, I can touch the ball or hit it with my bat. It feels amazing when my dad hugs me after the game. I can touch my dog or pick it up. I can touch a basketball too. Hear: I can hear the wind on a warm summer night, my mom making dinner, Water crashing on the beach, And birds chirping in the morning. See: I can see the sunrise and sunset. I can see your family. I can see the amazing world right in front of me. I can see the sun and the moon. I can see the basketball hoop and play with my best friends. When I see my family, my eyes light up with joy because they are always there for me when I need them. Taste: I can taste the great food from home Or from a restaurant. I can taste foods that some people cannot have. I can taste German and Czech foods. You have to thank your parents For all they do for you.
