Meaning of Home

Home is a place where people are included, where life feels best, where one feels safest. Home is more than a four-letter word. Home is the place where we grow up. My home is my home, not just any house. To give you an example, let me tell you about my very own home. Everyday, my cute stuffed animal greets me when I wake up in the morning. My mom is downstairs, making delicious food for me and my brother to enjoy. In the afternoon, I lie down on my soft couch and read my addictive books for as long as I wish to do so. On the weekend, my brother’s sweet melodic tunes fill the air, blessing my small ears with the delicacy of music. When someone else passes by, they might assume it is just a normal house, but no, it is my home, special and all to me. My home is much more on the inside than on the outside. After this explanation, I hope we can all agree that home is a special place to each and every one of us, and that we should all enjoy and have our own home to live in, not just for shelter, but for the special and unique feelings one gets when they step in through their door. Home is the place where life feels best, no matter where or who you are.
