The Meaning of Home

Home is a word everybody has said in their lives or at least thought about it. Home means different things for different to people, but for me this is what home means. Home means a place where I can scream or cry, feel sorry for myself, get in fights with my sister or just tell myself to suck it up. But it also means where my family is and my pets where me and my friends and I laugh and play. When I'm at home, I feel loved, safe, and my family makes me feel warm inside. There are some things that if they weren't in my home it wouldn't feel like home like if there wasn't a dog barking or skates drying by the front door to trip on or dog toys to trip on, it just wouldn't be the same. Home is important to me because without home I would have nowhere to go when I need to be cheered up or cry and sometimes, I can't sleep when I'm not at home. Home means something special to everyone, but this is what it means to me.
