Meaning of Home

Home is a portal to a magical place. You walk in the door and you feel calm, relaxed and happy. I love the smell of food cooking as I pet my fluffy cat. The taste of clean water and food in my body. As I sit in my comfortable bed in my room, I realize how lucky I am to be able to lay on a pillow in a warm house. I hear the sound of my mom calling me for dinner. My mom, dad and I sit at the dinner table and eat a delicious meal. The night comes fast and I go to my bed and sleep through the night. In the morning I wake up to the alarm clock waking me up to go to school. I put on my nice clothes and eat my delicious breakfast. Home is a place where I feel safe because I am with my family. I love home. It is my special place. I have never wanted to move houses because my home is special to me. I am lucky to have a home where I am loved.
