Home To Me

Home to me is a place where you can be with your family. A place you can take a break from the outside world. If you have a pet, it’s always fun to take them outside, or teach them tricks or snuggle with them. A home is somewhere that you can be yourself. -your true self. Whether it’s your house or your yard, you can always express yourself and always be loved. A house is well, a building, until you make it a home. Homes can be anything, like a place you can sit on a couch and watch a movie while eating delicious warm buttery popcorn. Homes are warm and welcoming and, in most cases, well structured. Which gives you the idea of a home that is safe. You feel good when you’re at home. If you truly feel happy at home, it’s a sign that you feel safe and not judged by others. You feel appreciated and loved by your family members. A lot of the time, certain furniture and memories will make you feel happy. Sometimes your family will take your drawings and pictures and put them on the fridge or wall. That really means a lot to me. A home to me or possibly you, is a happy place where you can be supported and courageous. I feel many things when I’m at home. That is what home means to me. Everyone deserves a home to feel comfortable and safe in.
