What is Your Home?

What is your home? Is it a country, a province, the great outdoors, or is it a building, sometimes it could be all of those. My home is a building, glistening white, on the darkest days, I feel safe in my home. Home shines anytime the weather changes, it brings warmth to my family and friends. My home shields me whenever and always when harsh weather comes from the sky. Home is where no one can stop me from being myself; it is where I belong. Home is where I feel safe, protected, and loved in many ways. Home is where I share many memories, where we laugh together, and where we learned together. Every morning my cat is like my wakeup call. Honestly, it is kind of annoying, but I still love my cat. Sometimes when I come home, my cat greets me. I feel safe in my home when my cat is at home. He is also like a guardian, protecting my home. In the morning when I come downstairs to the kitchen, my mom makes my morning breakfast. We chat while we eat our breakfast's, my mom in the kitchen makes our delicious lunches, at night in my home we watch movies while we eat, together we would laugh on the dinner table. At night when it's time to go to sleep, my mom would always tuck me in my cozy bed. I would always feel so lucky to have such a wonderful home to live in, I’m thankful for the home that I have, and I hope that it will stay the same.
