Home Is Where I Belong

Home is where me and my family live the best of our lives. Together we get through hard times with each others love and comfort. We play lots of board games and fill the living room with laughter. We eat together, tell stories and talk about our day. We watch movies, hide under blankets and scare each other. Home means having safely. I love the roof over my head that protects me from rain, snow and hail. I’m thankful for the walls around me because they protect me from the wind and wild animals. I’m also thankful for the floors because if there weren’t any floors I would have lots of slivers. Home also means having favorite rooms. My favorite room is the spare bedroom. In the spare bedroom I can hide under the bed and tickle passing feet. I can read books quietly under the table. I also love looking out the window and spying on neighbours. Home is where I find comfort. I find lots of comfort when I sleep and snore. For me comfort is also found when I get reading in a comfy spot. Home is where I find all the comfort I need. I may not belong in other places but, home is where I belong.
