Home is not just a building, it’s family! When I walk into the kitchen, I remember the food that has been cooked and provided for me. In the living room I remember the movies, games, and funny memories that were there! It’s a place where family and friends can be together. In the bedroom I see the bed that I dream in and sleep under a cozy blanket that keeps me warm during cold nights. When I walk downstairs, I see the toys that had been given or bought to keep me entertained! The display of Lego there, in the display cabinet, takes hours and maybe days to make. Comfy couches there to rest on when I’m tired. A piano to play and practice wonderful music. The TV to watch movies or sing karaoke with the microphone and speakers. Home is my happy place! A place where I belong and feel safe and protected. A home can hold all these things. It gives us things! So, we can give something back by treating our home nicely, not breaking things, not hitting the walls or floors on purpose. Be thankful for the house you’ve got, for it protects you. Protect it back! Home isn’t just a building, Its family!
