Home is family

Home is not just a building, that's your house. Lay it out,it's like a picture frame. But the picture frame doesn't matter as much as the picture inside. The frame is just there to help the photo shine. The photo is a memory captured in time. My house captures so many memories and those memories make up my home. When you enter a house for the first time it's like a piece of paper ready to be filled with pictures or memories. The house may not feel like your home yet. I know this because when I was six we moved. When I entered my house for the first time it didn't feel like home, but we camped out in a bedroom laughing and that felt like home. Dashes of laughter, pinches of joy and lots of love that is the recipe of home. On a stormy day I'll come home from school and my dad will be making a fire. We will eat dinner together then sit by the fire eating ice cream and laughing. The feeling of this moment is like being cuddled in a warm cozy blanket. Before I thought home meant your house but it's so much more. It's love, it's drinking warm soup to make you feel better. These things, they make up a home. Sometimes at home I feel like a hurricane. My dad will make me tea while my mom tells me to breathe. There is no one that can help like your family. They are my heart. Wherever they are I am meant to be. My home is my family. I wish a family for everyone. My family is kind and loving, two simple things that mean so much. Every home is different and every home is special.
