This Is What My Home Means To Me

Home is a safe and cozy place. Home is a place to be with family and friends. Home is a place for laughter and fun. Home is a place I can get yummy food. Home is a place that I feel loved. Home is a place that I don't get judged. I love my home. When I wake up, my mom hugs me and I go on the comfy couch and have a nice warm blanket. My house is like a nice warm fireplace with all the blankets. My home is an art museum with all the pictures on the walls. My home is where memories are made with love and care. When my mom bakes cookies, the smell goes all through the house and I run to get some. When I get in my bed, I feel safe and comfy under my blanket. When I get home from school, I feel relaxed and I lay on my couch and I’m excited to eat some of my mom's cookies. Home is a place where I don't get judged and I can do embarrassing things that I won't get laughed at. When I get home my cats greet me at the door and I pick them up to hug them with all my love. My home goes through rough spots too, but we get through them. My favorite place is my home. No one sees my house as I do. My home is the one place I can relax, not like a hot tub or a sauna. It is better than all of that. My room is my favorite place when I'm sad, I run to my room and sit on my bed and draw in my notebook. My home is my special place.
