What Makes A House A Home

A house is just a place with four walls and a roof, but a home is so much more. A home doesn’t need to be where you live it’s a place that makes you happy and safe where you can be yourself. Your home might start as a house but then you will make memories in this house, and it will become really special. Some things that make my house a home are being able to be free, yourself and feeling loved and safe at your home. In my home I see the cats playing in the living room. I feel the fluffy blankets on the couch or on my bed. I hear the cats purring. I taste the food my mom and dad cook for me. I smell the candles burning with the smell of lavender. I’m very lucky to have a good home to go to and very grateful. I can’t imagine not having my home.
