The Difference Between a House and a Home

Homes and houses are two very different things. A house is a structure, it can be an apartment, a mansion, or just a plain suburban house. Whatever it is it was built for people to live inside it. A home on the other hand is almost a concept made by your mind. It’s a place where you feel safe, where you are familiar with and a place where you can relax. Most of the time a home for someone is a house. However, a home can also be a car, a bus, a shelter or a mall. A home for me would be the house I’m living in. I feel safe inside and my family and my cat would be waiting for me when I come back from school. A home for you could be different, like the house you’re living in or a playground. In conclusion a house is a structure built to have people live inside it while a home is a place you think it’s safe and you can relax there.
