What Does Home Mean To Me

What home means to me is when you come home after a day of stress at school, and as I walk through the door and my dog runs at me with his tail wagging. Once I fully step through the door, the smell of my mom's cooking greets me. Home for me is seeing all the people I cherish, have fun with, and love each day. In my home, I feel the love in the people around me. In my home, I feel comfort even if it isn't in a bed or in pillows, but it is really nice to have a comfy bed! A home to me is also where you feel most comfortable speaking openly. Even if it's not a super deep conversation, just talking about your day with someone you have an amazing relationship with will make it feel like home. Home is more than just a place where you live, it can be people, too. For me, home is in my family, so anywhere I go with them feels like home.
