What Makes a House a Home

What makes a house a home to me is family cause a home is not just a roof over your head. Family cares for you and protects you. My mom and dad always cook for me and provide comfort. They make me feel safe and loved when I walk inside my house. My parents greet me and ask how my day was, I feel comfortable to tell them about how good or bad it was. That’s what great about parents as well they listen to you with no complaining. That’s one thing I love about my home. Something else that I love about my family at home is a family always wants to be around me and hang out with me. I always feel so happy when we all hang out. Family likes you for you. You don’t have to pretend who you are when you’re around your family, when you’re with your family you can be your true self, cause a family would never judge you they support everything about you. I love this about my home cause I always feel included with everything that we do. My favourite memories in my home with my family are when we all pick a movie and sit on the couch together and eat snacks and stay up late to watch a movie together, we call it a movie night. It doesn’t happen every night that’s why it’s special. Whenever I think about movie nights, I miss my family and my home. All these things make me feel at home cause I’m with my mom, dad, brother, dog and I feel happy and loved. This is what makes a house a home to me.
